The Original History Of The Gunfighters MC
December 06, 2010
Over eleven years ago a group of decorated military heroes, fresh out of the Gulf war, decided to start a motorcycle club. They borrowed elements from their military attack unit, Gunfighter Squadron HMLA-369 (Wikipedia), and formed the Gunfighters MC. There was never any sense of entitlement amongst them. They worked diligently to follow the proper channels and develop the relationships necessary to ride as a recognized club with the respect of other clubs.

Although the club was primarily for military men, new members had to do a lot more to prove themselves besides just show up with a military ID card. They had to actively participate in club activities and charity drives. By the time someone was allowed to wear the club patch, he had proven himself as being worthy beyond question. Not by violent or illegal activity, but by dedication to the club and to the community.
For several years the club grew in size and gained a level of respect rarely afforded to one-piece patch clubs. They sponsored several yearly events and were always invited guests at other clubs. Everywhere they rode, they were recognized and welcomed.
